West Tech Awards

The event will also recognize outstanding achievements with the West Tech Awards, celebrating contributions that have made a tangible impact in advancing technology and innovation within the public sectors. Inviting Nominations from State PSUs, State Govt. and Corporate. The awards in this category would start with the filing of nominations. However, the Governance Now Research Team will also use its research to get further information to verify and evaluate the nominations. The shortlisted applications will be presented to the jury for the final evaluation.

  1. CMD/MD Leadership Award: Recognition designed to honor exemplary leadership and outstanding contributions within Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). This award celebrates visionary leaders and innovative practices that have significantly advanced the objectives of PSUs, fostered digital transformation, and driven impactful changes in governance and public service.

  1. IT Innovation Award: Recognizing innovative solutions developed by organizations that have significantly impacted operations or services that have introduced groundbreaking innovations in the IT field, such as new software, hardware, or methodologies that significantly advance the industry.

  1. Cybersecurity and Data Protection: Acknowledging Organization(s) for outstanding best practices in cybersecurity, ensuring the protection of critical assets and data.

  1. Emerging Technology Adoption Award: Acknowledging the Organization(s) that has shown leadership in adopting emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, Internet of Things (IoT), and others to address organizational challenges, societal challenges and drive economic growth.

  1. Digital Transformation Excellence: Honoring organization(s)that have demonstrated excellence in executing digital transformation initiatives, resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness

  1. IT Infrastructure Excellence: Recognizing Organizations with outstanding IT infrastructure management, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of IT systems.

  1. Data Center Excellence: Recognizes and celebrates exceptional achievements in establishing, managing, and utilizing data centers. This category highlights the innovative strategies, technological advancements, and operational excellence demonstrated by organizations in optimizing their data center infrastructure.

  1. Excellence in public service delivery: Honoring Organization(s) that have demonstrated exceptional customer service delivery through the implementation of technology-driven solutions.

  1. Cloud Innovation Award: Recognizing Organization(s) for innovative adoption and implementation of cloud computing technologies to drive agility and scalability.

  1. Smart Governance Award: Recognizing Organization that has leveraged technology to enhance government efficiency, transparency, and citizen engagement through initiatives such as open data platforms, e-governance solutions, and participatory budgeting.

  1. Excellence in Employee Engagement: Recognizing innovative strategies to boost employee morale, satisfaction, and productivity.

  1. Best HR Innovation: Celebrating innovative practices and solutions in HR management and operations

  1. HR Tech Implementation: Celebrating the use of technology to enhance HR processes and improve workforce management.

  1. Skill Development Initiative Award: To recognize organizations that have demonstrated outstanding commitment to upskilling and reskilling their workforce, fostering innovation, and driving productivity.

  1. Most Innovative citizen engagement through technology: To honor organizations, PSUs, or government departments that have leveraged technology to foster meaningful, inclusive, and impactful engagement with citizens, enhancing public service delivery and community involvement.

Note
The winners will be decided based on the decision of the high-powered Jury, which would meet to evaluate the score and adjudicate the winner in each of the awards categories. This would be followed by an on-ground conference and Awards ceremony.


How to apply
1) Draft a detailed description of the organization’s work (max. 2500 words) in the category in which the organization is sending application highlighting that would merit receipt of the West Tech Awards. The note must refer to the importance of the work, its impact, and its projected influence.

2) Please share what sets you apart. Tangible examples of clear benefits are needed along with the financial cost and return.

3) Please send relevant supporting data specific to the category, background info such as press cuttings, letters, reports, etc. online at events@governancenow.com

4) Entries are to be submitted in the format we prescribed. Please refer to the format for each category.
