Almost 32 kilometers from New Delhi, a city that hardly existed two decades ago has seen the fastest development and now has everything to support the system with few exceptions. Gurgaon now boasts of the presence of major IT giants, Cyber City, numerous shopping malls, automobile showrooms, huge residential buildings, and employs millions of people from NCR with a great contribution in the economy.
According to reports, Gurgaon is one of India's fastest-growing districts, having expanded more than 70 percent during the past decade to more than 1.5 million people, larger than most American cities. It accounts for almost half of all revenues for its state, Haryana.
