Governance Now 4th India Banking Reforms Conclave 2019

India is the second-fastest digitizing economy amongst 17 leading economies of the world. According to reports, Digital economy is a trillion dollar opportunity for India. India can create up to $1 trillion of economic value from the digital economy in 2025. The banking system, fintech and financial institutions are critical to empowering the digital economy. Governance Now is pleased to announce the 4th edition of India Banking Reforms Conclave and BFSI Awards, 2019 on 10th May 2019 in Mumbai. The concalve will focus on essential pillars of reforms and digital innovations that are crucial to make India a truly empowered digital economy.

In the last three years, the India Banking Reforms Conclave has focused on various reforms initiatives in the banking and financial sector and financial inclusion in a big way. Reform measures especially on governance have achieved traction and attained some level of maturity. The need, for now, is to accelerate this process on the lines as covered in various preceding points. Continuing with the journey, this year the conclave focuses on digital transformation of the banking sector, new digital innovations for BFSI, and securing these digital transformations while balancing the regulatory and supervisory support system around them. The conclave will have dialogues amongst banks (public & private), NBFI, Fintechs, regulators, academia, economist and industry experts to deliberate on innovations and transformation.

The conclave agenda will be both - comprehensive and futuristic from a Digital BFSI's perspective.
